The stylish town of Ebisu is home to many world-famous restaurants and stylish shops, but for some reason I often end up going to the kind of restaurant that serves set meals.
For that reason, this time I would like to introduce the popular restaurant “Maika” in Ebisu, which is always packed with customers.

It’s a super popular restaurant that’s always packed with people waiting in line!
When I was looking for a restaurant in Ebisu, I saw “Maika” on my mobile phone and it caught my eye.
I visited the restaurant after seeing the pictures of the food and thinking “this place must be delicious”.
I had heard that it was a popular restaurant with a long queue, but I was able to go in without waiting because it was just after 14:10 and it was raining.
The menu is very extensive
Maiko is a Chinese restaurant, but the shop looked like a set meal restaurant.
There was a menu posted at the entrance of the shop, and there were nearly 20 set meal options.
There was such a wide range of dishes on the menu that I wasn’t sure what to order, but when I ordered the ginger pork set meal, the “THE ginger pork set meal” that I had in mind exactly appeared in front of me.
The taste was also outstanding, and it was the perfect ginger pork set meal that exactly suited my tastes.
Considering the taste, the volume, and the location in Ebisu, I think 900 yen is amazing.
I left the restaurant at 14:30, but there were about 10 people in line.
I happened to get in at a good time, so I was lucky.
About Maika
The atmosphere of the restaurant gives the impression of a long-established restaurant, but it was actually opened in 2009, so it’s relatively new.
The food is delicious, of course, and it’s also popular because it’s filling and cheap, so some people say it’s the best of the town Chinese restaurants.
You’ll have to be prepared to wait in line, but if you like town Chinese food, this is a great restaurant to visit at least once.
