In this article, we will introduce one such restaurant, the Chinese restaurant “Kawakoku Fumi Kobayashi” in Roka Koen.

It’s a famous Sichuan restaurant that only those in the know know about
The four of us went out for lunch for the first time in a while, and after searching online for a good restaurant, we found a Chinese restaurant that looked good.
That’s why we went to the Sichuan restaurant called “Kawakoku Fumi Kobayashi” in Roka Koen.
As it was a public holiday, we made a reservation in advance.
We had some surprisingly good authentic Sichuan cuisine with great value for money!
The lunch menu is reasonably priced, starting from 2,000 yen, and you can choose from four main dishes.
When I asked if it was okay if the four of us ordered different things, I was told it was fine, so I decided to go ahead with my request, although I felt a little guilty about it.
The food that came out was all delicious, with no corners cut at all, right down to the final dessert.
There was a comment on an online review that said “the price of 2000 yen is perfect”, but the food was so good that I felt like apologizing for the price (as of January 2024, the price for the following dishes for four people is 2000 yen per person).
I definitely want to try the evening course next time.

Kawakoku-fumi Kobayashi is a Sichuan cuisine restaurant that opened in 2009, where you can enjoy carefully prepared Sichuan cuisine in a casual setting.
