With good access to the city center and a safe environment, Yoyogi Uehara is a high-class residential area, and both the people who live there and the whole town have a relaxed atmosphere.
In such a place as Yoyogi Uehara, there is a stylish Chinese restaurant that is very popular with women.
For this reason, we would like to introduce the popular Chinese restaurant “Hibi no Chuka Shokudo” in Yoyogi Uehara.

There was already a line before 12 o’clock.
On this day, I was in Yoyogi Uehara at lunchtime, so I went to the “Hibi no Chuka Shokudo” I had found a little while ago.
I arrived at the restaurant at around 11:45, but it was already full and I had to wait for about 10 minutes.
The fact that there was already a line at this time on a weekday shows how popular it is.
About 90% of the customers were women
I was shown to a counter and, after looking at the menu, I ordered the “Chinese Obanzai Set Meal” (1,600 yen).
Soon, a dish with a variety of side dishes was brought over.
All of the dishes were delicious and well seasoned, and they went well with the rice.
The interior of the restaurant was stylish, and it was not your average Chinese restaurant in town, but had a slightly more upmarket feel.
Naturally, as it was such a restaurant, there were many female customers, and out of the 20 seats, there were only two men, including myself.
By the time I left the restaurant, there were even more people queuing, so it seems to be a very popular restaurant.
I was very satisfied with the restaurant, so I thought I would like to bring my wife here next time.
About “Hibi no Chuka Shokudo”
Hibi no Chuka Shokudo is a new restaurant that opened in July 2021, but it was chosen as ‘Tokyo’s Best Restaurant 2022’ soon after opening and has already become a very popular restaurant.
The chef, Koya Suzuki, trained at famous restaurants including the long-established Sichuan restaurant Chongqing Hanten, and it seems that he has a love of Chinese food that is greater than anyone else’s.
Why not visit the very comfortable “Hibi no Chuka Shokudo”, a restaurant that serves high-level cuisine in a casual setting?

Hibi no Chuka Shokudo was selected for the Bib Gourmand in the 2023 Michelin Guide.
Considering that it has only been open for two years, I think that is truly amazing.
