リョウラ(世田谷区) Ryoura (Setagaya-ku) Yoga / Cakes Sweet with a clean aftertaste. A popular western-style confectionery store in Yoga where all the cakes are delicious. lunch:¥1,000~¥1,999 dinner:¥1,000~¥1,999 Official website |
In Setagaya Ward, which is known as a battleground for sweets shops, there is a Western confectionery shop that I like, along with Au Bon Vieux Temps .
For that reason, this time I would like to introduce Ryoura, which is located in Yoga.
Please check the official website and Google Map below for opening hours, regular holidays, reviews, etc.
I found it in a Setagaya Ward gourmet guide and visited it.
The first time I visited Ryoura was in April 2022.
I saw a cake in a Setagaya Ward gourmet guide (Setagaya Life) that looked so delicious that I went out of my way to buy it.
The shop was in the Yoga shopping district, but it seemed to be a popular shop, and there were already several customers inside.
I was so impressed by how delicious the eclairs were!
I love eclairs, so I bought two types of eclair and two other cakes to take home.
I could tell just by taking a bite (and also by looking at them), but they were not your average eclair.
This is a deliciousness that clearly exceeds the bounds of the deliciousness that comes to mind when you hear the word ‘eclair’.
It’s only available for a limited time of the year, so you can’t buy it all year round, but I go and buy it frequently when it’s on sale.
The price of the cake I bought that day was 2,590 yen (including tax) for four pieces, including the box, but considering the location, I don’t think it’s expensive at all, and considering the level of deliciousness, I felt it was rather cheap.
Everything is delicious!
I was captivated by the deliciousness of the cakes at “Ryoura”, and I started going there frequently, but everything is really delicious.
The “Whole Peach Tart” (1,100 yen) in the image below uses peaches that are sweeter than custard cream, and it was really irresistible.
About “Ryoura”
Pastry chef Ryosuke Sugamata trained in various parts of France for three years, and in October 2015 he opened his own patisserie, Ryoura, in Yoga.
Mr. Sugamata has commented that his goal is not to be a star chef, but to be a “town patissier”, but in my opinion, he has far surpassed the “town level” and is a “Tokyo patissier”.
It is strange that a patisserie this delicious is not listed in the Michelin Guide, but I am sure it will be listed in the near future.
Needless to say, “Ryoura” is one of the cake shops that the administrator hossie likes.
